Meeting Minutes of the Board of Trustees

The Rockton Fire Protection District is governed by a five person elected Board of Trustees.  Regular business meetings typically take place at the fire station, starting at 7 pm, on the second Tuesday of each month. The public is encouraged to attend the board meetings; time for public comment is at the beginning of the meeting.

Enabled and empowered by Illinois Statute, the Board of Trustees oversees the governing and controls of the business affairs of the fire protection district. The Board of Trustees has full power to pass all necessary ordinances, rules and regulations for the proper management and conduct of the business of the fire protection district and for carrying out the purposes for which the district was formed.
